Olympic gold medallist Kate French MBE officially launches brand new activities at Haven’s Allhallows Holiday Park

Leading UK holiday company Haven celebrates its biggest investment to date at Allhallows Holiday Park, with Team GB Olympic Gold medallist Kate French MBE on hand to launch the brand-new activities.

Following a huge £17.5 million investment across a range of thrill-seeking outdoor activities, modern accommodation and a wide selection of food and beverage options, Allhallows Holiday Park is delighted to share the new developments with guests.

With school summer holidays well underway, the demand for fun activities to keep children entertained is stronger than ever. Guests can take full advantage of the brand-new Seahorse Sands Adventure Village which includes The Jump, first introduced to Haven’s Craig Tara park in 2019. Offering guests a mighty high experience by freefalling from two different height platforms onto a giant airbag, the popular attraction is definitely a crowd pleaser.

Hailing from Kent herself Kate, who was the highest finishing British modern pentathlete at Rio 2016, before taking Gold for Team GB in Toyko 2020, is no stranger to high adrenaline.

“Having an interest in sport from an early age and being raised in Kent I would've loved to experience activities like this in my local area growing up” says Kate. Launching the activities in front of a crowd of eagle-eyed spectators she continued“It’s important to teach children about keeping active and trying new things. Even as an adult the new activities are tons of fun”.

Whilst Kate is a skilled athlete, you don’t have to be an Olympian to tackle the new activities at Allhallows. Guests can jump for joy on the Bungee Trampolines and reach for the sky on the towering Aerial Adventure. Even dogs can stay entertained whilst at Allhallows with the brand-new Bark in Park area filled with fun obstacle courses.

Talking about the launch day John Coltman, General Manager at Allhallows said “We’re incredibly proud of the work that has gone into the investment at Allhallows and excited to welcome guests to enjoy all the amazing new additions this summer”.

In addition to the new activities, Allhallows has invested in other areas with over 60 new pitches for holiday homes on two new locations, Hope Reach and Montgomery Rise – named after the shipwreck of SS Montgomery which can be seen in the distance. There is also a new Burger King as well as Haven’s signature Seaside Treats.

The overall investment has led to more than 100 additional new job roles, providing a huge boost to the local area.
