Sun-sational Savings: Haven set to give holidaymakers up to £5 million under HMT Great British Summer Savings initiative
- Up to £5m back for families this summer as Haven passes on VAT savings on children’s meals and activities
- Activity credits for guests and holiday home owners, including £7.50 per child and £15 per owner account, across 39 parks
- More value for families, with VAT savings reflected on children’s menus
Haven, the UK’s leading holiday park operator and the first in the industry to announce it will pass on the benefit of the Government’s summer VAT reduction on qualifying children’s meals and activities, giving back up to £5 million to guests and owners.
Haven will provide hundreds of thousands of holidaymakers with £7.50 onsite activity credits for any booked child where play passes have been purchased, redeemable on the full range of activities across its 39 parks. Holiday home owners will receive £15 in activity credits per account, valid for use at their resident park during the Summer Savings period (June 25 – September 1).
Families will see the VAT saving on children’s menus, so while the pennies are taken care of, the pounds look after themselves - with the fan‑favourite Kids Eat for £1 offer continuing when an adult meal is purchased in the same transaction.
Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves, said: “I know the cost of living is a number one concern for families, and it can be even harder over the summer holidays when kids want to do things and money is tight. So we're making it that bit easier for families to make memories together and enjoy the little treats - while giving a boost to businesses across the UK."

Activity credits are automatically applied to online bookings via the Haven App or haven.com/experience. Holiday home owners can register their guests to unlock the savings, with guests receiving credits once they purchase Play Passes to activate their account
Haven Summer Savings is available for all arrivals between 25 June and 1 September 2026. Credits must be used during guests' stays and are valid across all 39 Haven parks. For more information and to book, visit haven.com.
