Prime Minister Boris Johnson Visits Haven Perran Sands ahead of reopening of hospitality on 12 April

Ahead of lifting of lockdown restrictions, Haven's park at Perranporth receives a VIP visit.

Leading UK holiday company Haven welcomed a very special visitor in their preparations for reopening today when the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson visited its Perran Sands holiday park in Perranporth.

Mr Johnson spent time walking around the park, taking in both the stunning views as well as talking to the teams who have been preparing holiday homes and facilities for guests. From accommodation to maintenance, to food and beverage and activities and retail teams, the Prime Minister saw all the work that has been undertaken since the announcement of the easing of lockdown restrictions to be ready for reopening.

“We were delighted to welcome the Prime Minister to Perran Sands today,” said Lowery Arbury, General Manager of Perran Sands. “We were pleased to hear that we could reopen on the 12th April, and the team have worked  tirelessly to be ready for our guests and owners so it was great that we could share the work with Mr Johnson and he could see firsthand  the measures we’ve implemented to help guests feel safe and secure while on holiday.”

The trip to Perran Sands was part of a wider trip for Prime Minister to Cornwall, visiting several businesses that will also be reopening on April 12.
