One millionth meal sold in Haven JD Wetherspoons

Haven, the UK's leading holiday park operator, has sold its one millionth JD Wetherspoon meal just two years after the first JD Wetherspoon pub opened at a Haven park.

Haven’s Primrose Valley site near Filey in North Yorkshire opened in spring 2024, marking the start of the exclusive partnership between the popular pub group and Haven. 

Four more opened in 2025: at Cleethorpes Beach in Lincolnshire, Devon Cliffs near Exmouth, Devon, Kent Coast near Rochester, Kent and Haggerston Castle, near Berwick in Northumberland. A further four opened earlier this year at Cala Gran in Blackpool, Hopton, near Great Yarmouth, Lakeland in south Cumbria and Riviere Sands, Cornwall.

Guests have enjoyed more than 365,000 breakfasts, 57,000 deli lunches and 578,000 dinners.

The Wetherspoon large breakfast - consisting of two fried eggs, bacon, two Lincolnshire sausages, baked beans, three hash browns, mushrooms and two slices of toast - is the top pick, with coffee ranking among the highest-selling items overall. Soft drinks are also a hit with holidaymakers, with Pepsi Max the number one choice, and family favourites such as kids' side chips, apple bags and Yoyo Bear snacks consistently proving popular.

Stella Artois leads draught lager sales at Kent Coast, Primrose Valley, Haggerston Castle, Lakeland, Cala Gran and Cleethorpes Beach. Thatchers Gold Cider is the fan favourite at Devon Cliffs and Riviere Sands, and Coldwater Creek Pinot Grigio is the tipple of choice for holidaymakers at Hopton, in Norfolk.

Haven has invested £16 million in the pubs, with each one having a name and a unique carpet design reflecting the local heritage.  635 team are required to operate the pubs during busy periods.
