Leading South Coast holiday park to join Haven family

Haven, the UK’s leading holiday park operator, and Blackstone portfolio company, has announced that Seal Bay Resort has been acquired by Blackstone to add to the Haven family of holiday parks. 

Seal Bay, situated on the Selsey peninsula to the east of Portsmouth on England’s south coast, has over 2,500 pitches. 

Seal Bay will continue to trade under its current name for the remainder of 2026, before transitioning to the Haven brand for the 2027 season.  Holidaymakers can continue to book holidays on the current Seal Bay resort website, https://cove.co.uk/holidays/resorts/seal-bay/, including for breaks in 2027. 

Haven already operates 39 holiday parks in stunning coastal locations in England, Scotland and Wales.  Each park has an indoor swimming pool, supermarket, a pub-restaurant and branded food outlets, including 9 parks with JD Wetherspoon pubs, 32 Papa Johns, 22 Burger Kings, 6 Millies Cookies and 5 Slim Chickens. 

Haven was acquired by Blackstone in 2021. Since then it has invested over £700 million in its parks, upgrading facilities, extending the food & beverage options for guests, and developing additional pitches and upgrading the holiday home fleet. In recent years, it has acquired the Richmond Holiday Centre (now Haven Skegness Holiday Park) and Holivans Caravan Park in Mablethorpe.
