Easter fun with the Seaside Squad-2

Holidaymakers flock to the UK coast over Easter in record numbers

Easter has seen a record number of holidaymakers heading to the UK coast according to Haven, the UK’s leading holiday park operator.  Having enjoyed the sunny start to the month across the country, visitors were not deterred by the April showers joining the Seaside Squad as they enjoyed their eggs on their UK Bank Holiday breaks.

Haven’s 39 parks, located on some of the most beautiful coastlines in the UK, has had its biggest ever Easter holiday period with huge demand in recent weeks leading to sales up by more than a quarter on Easter last year.

Across its 39 sites, Haven has hosted more than 400,000 guests over the Easter holiday.

Simon Palethorpe, Chief Executive of Haven, said:

“The popularity of staycations continues to grow as more and more people choose to enjoy all that our country has to offer.  We work hard to ensure that visitors to Haven have a great experience by investing in our facilities, our accommodation and our overall experience.  Whether you enjoy walking along the coastline, sampling the food and drinks from familiar brands like Burger King and J D Wetherspoon, or take advantage of the swimming pool and family entertainment venues, we’re delighted that so many people are choosing to holiday with us resulting in Easter holiday sales up more than 25% this year.”

Mateusz Dolata, General Manager of Haven’s Littlesea Park, said:

“This Easter we’ve had more than 7,000 guests visiting Littlesea enjoying the Dorset coast, our family friendly activities, entertainment and our heated indoor pool. The team at Littlesea have loved making Easter 2025 a memorable time for all our guests as well as eating a few Easter eggs ourselves.”
