Ho Ho Haven: Haven Holidays opens four new parks for Christmas

Father Christmas swapped snowflakes for sandcastles as he flew into Haven’s Devon Cliffs, Hafan y Mor, Craig Tara and Seton Sands Holiday Parks this week to check out his Christmas Eve delivery routes, after learning that the popular parks will be opening for Christmas and New Year breaks this year.   

The decision to open four new sites for Christmas builds on last year’s success when Haven opened five of its parks over the Festive period, with more than 30,000 guests enjoying winter breaks by the sea.    

As well as enjoying the seaside location, great views and surrounding area, holidaymakers can enjoy a hassle-free Christmas dinner with all the trimmings in the on-site restaurants; access to festive entertainment throughout the day and evening; access to pre-book swimming facilities and activities throughout their stay, as well as enjoying some of the best views and walks around Britain’s coast. Father Christmas will also be making a special appearance with his elves in his Grotto, ready to meet and greet holidaymakers.

“This week I packed away my winter woollies, grabbed my sunglasses, sandals and beach toys, and took a trip to explore the four new parks. With so many more holiday homes to visit, I wanted to check my list, twice, on-site this year to make sure that my elves and I know the present delivery routes.  There’s plenty of sleigh parking and reindeer runways available on the nearby beaches.  

“I’m looking forward to meeting the children in my Grotto with my cheeky workshop elves – and don’t worry, the North Pole office knows exactly where I’ll be on the big night! All letters, wish lists and special messages are being redirected to the grottos, so I’ll have everything I need when I return on Christmas Eve to deliver presents.”
