Haven’s nationwide recruitment drive offers 2,000+ summer jobs as staycation demand surges

Haven, the UK’s leading holiday park operator and a Blackstone portfolio company, with 41 parks in prime coastal locations nationwide, prepares for the summer season with 2,000 job* opportunities across England, Scotland and Wales to support the rising popularity of UK holidays.  

Haven’s latest recruitment drive will support growing demand, with Haven parks expecting to welcome 3.6 million holidaymakers in 2024, an increase of 13% from 2023.  

Haven is an age inclusive employer and is offering a wide variety of jobs to appeal to different ages and varying levels of experience. New full- and part-time positions will be available at each of Haven's parks, in roles spanning a variety of functions, including activities and leisure, food and beverage, accommodation services, and security.   

North Wales (272), Yorkshire (246) and Lincolnshire (193) have the most roles available per region, with the top three most popular parks including: 

  • Hafan y Mor, North Wales (158) 
  • Lakeland, Lake District (153) 
  • Primrose Valley, Yorkshire (95) 

To meet the demands of Haven’s growing number of visitors across the UK, the c.2,000 roles are distributed as follows: 

  • North: 652 roles 
  • East: 388 roles 
  • South: 300 roles 
  • West: 666 roles 

Haven is offering a wide variety of exciting seasonal roles to suit a wide range of different skills and interests, including: 

  • Lifeguards 
  • Hospitality – including staff for the on-site Wetherspoons at Primrose Valley which opened this year, the first and only pub from the chain to operate at a UK holiday park.  
  • Activities and Leisure Team - This dynamic team lead and supervise various activities such as: 
  • Aerial Adventure  
  • Archery 
  • Rock Climbing 
  • Park Ranger activities, which include Fire lighting Techniques and Den Building 
  • Creative Studio, which includes painting and arts and crafts  

Since 2021, Haven has invested more than £400 million into its parks, including over £170 million in 2023. This investment allows Haven to offer a wider range of entertainment concepts and on-park experiences, including new activities and entertainment facilities such as adventure villages and show bars.
