Haven, the UK’s leading holiday park operator, saw a 114% year-on-year increase in the
number of guests taking a Festive break at its parks in 2025, welcoming 85,700 visitors
over the period. Haven offered Festive breaks at nine of its parks during late November
and December.

On Christmas Day itself, over 9,000 guests celebrated at a Haven park, tucking into
almost 8,200 turkey dinners, 33,000 pigs in blankets and 30,000 roast potatoes. With
every caravan having its own Christmas tree, over 2,430 Christmas trees were used to
decorate caravans and parks.

Children visiting Santa’s grotto wrote over 15,330 letters to Father Christmas with help
from the Haven elves, as Santa met naughty and nice children alike.

Haven opened nine parks for Festive breaks this year, including Cala Gran in Blackpool,
Hafan y Mor in Wales, Devon Cliffs near Exmouth, Craig Tara and Seton Sands in
Scotland, Seashore in Great Yarmouth, Rockley Park near Poole, Kent Coast near
Rochester and Primrose Valley in North Yorkshire.

Haven’s parks remain open for Festive breaks until the New Year, with more than 10,000
guests expected to be on Haven’s sites each day.

Simon Palethorpe, CEO, Haven Holidays, said: “It’s been fantastic to see such a strong
demand for our Festive breaks. More families are choosing to holiday in the UK and enjoy
a short break by the coast. A Haven Holiday provides great value, great accommodation
and a great time in a great British seaside location, whether you’re holidaying as a couple,
a family or with friends. 2025 has seen a record 3.9 million people holidaying with Haven
and we look forward to welcoming even more in 2026.”

Looking ahead to 2026, Haven guests will be able to enjoy a range of new attractions and
food and beverage offerings on its parks. Haven Kent Coast will fully open its new £10m
water park in Spring 2026 and four new J D Wetherspoon pubs will be opening at Haven’s
parks at Cala Gran in Blackpool, Hopton in Norfolk, Lakeland in Cumbria and Riviere
Sands in Cornwall. Haven is also renovating the Show Bar at Marton Mere in Blackpool
this winter.
