Haven launches nationwide recruitment drive as it prepares for record holiday season

  • Haven is hiring over 6,000 seasonal workers including lifeguards, bar staff, cleaners, administrators and security managers across the UK 
  • The recruitment drive comes as Haven expects to welcome record 4 million guests across its parks in 2026  
  • Vacancies include roles at four new JD Wetherspoon pubs following £9 million investment 

Haven, the UK’s leading holiday park operator, with 39 parks in prime coastal locations, has launched a nationwide recruitment drive, looking to fill over 6,000 roles as it prepares to welcome a record four million holidaymakers onto its parks in 2026.   

Haven is a major local employer across the UK - particularly of younger people and those looking to get back into work - creating thousands of seasonal roles each year. 73% of last year’s seasonal workforce expressed their desire to return in 2026, with the company welcoming team members of all ages and backgrounds, offering a wide variety of jobs to suit varying levels of experience.  

This season, full and part-time positions are available covering activity and leisure supervision including The Big Jump and climbing walls in the Adventure Villages; preparing and serving in popular franchises including Papa Johns, Burger King, Slim Chickens, and Chopstix; and essential accommodation and security roles vital to the comfort and safety of Haven guests.  

Following a £9 million investment, Haven is also recruiting bar and restaurant staff for four new JD Wetherspoon pubs at Hopton, Cala Gran, Riviere Sands, and Lakeland.  

This comes as Haven expects to welcome a record four million guests across its parks in 2026.

Haven’s commitment to its people was recently recognised at the 2025 WiHTL and Diversity in Retail Awards, where the company won ‘Most Inclusive Organisation.’ Seasonal team members benefit from a range of comprehensive on-demand and self-led digital learning opportunities, including leadership, guest relations and project management. Virtual and in-person training is also available, providing flexible support for professional and personal development.  On a more practical level, many parks assist with transportation when situated out of a town centre and some roles include on-park accommodation. 

Team members can also access the Haven Degree Programme which develops the next generation of hospitality leaders.  Combining hands-on experience with higher education, participants can earn a degree across 33 months and broaden their expertise across the business. 

Since 2021, Haven has invested £700 million upgrading the guest experience and facilities.  Four new JD Wetherspoon pubs have opened at Cala Gran (Blackpool), Hopton (Norfolk), Lakeland (Cumbria) and Riviere Sands (Cornwall).  Haven will also renovate the Show Bar at Marton Mere in Blackpool and build a new supermarket at Kent Coast.
