Haven launch nationwide recruitment drive to fulfil c.1,200+ summer jobs

  • Haven’s holiday parks have more than c.1,200 roles available this summer across activities and leisure, hospitality and housekeeping. 
  • Recruitment drive comes as Haven expects to welcome 3.6 million guests in 2025. 

Haven, the UK’s leading holiday park operator, with 39 parks in prime coastal locations, is looking to recruit more than c.1,200 team members across the UK ahead of its summer season. The summer positions will support growing demand, as Haven anticipates welcoming over 3.6 million holidaymakers across its parks in 2025.  

Haven employs over 9,500 seasonal team members across its parks each year, with many returning year after year. The company welcomes team members of all ages and backgrounds, offering a wide variety of jobs to suit varying levels of experience. Full- and part-time positions are available in areas including activities and leisure, food and beverage, accommodation services, and security.  

  • The top three Haven parks recruiting seasonal staff: 
  • Lakeland, Cumbria – 87 roles
  • Golden Sands, Lincolnshire – 81 roles
  • Haggerston Castle, Berwick-on-Tweed – 77 roles 

 

  • To meet the demands of Haven’s growing number of visitors, the c. 1,200 roles are distributed as follows: 
  • Scotland, Northumberland, Lincolnshire, and Yorkshire: c.450 roles across 12 parks, including Cleethorpes Beach, Craig Tara, Golden Sands and Seton Sands 
  • Norfolk, Kent, Sussex and Essex: c.220 roles across 8 parks, including Kent Coast, Seashore, Wild Duck and Combe Haven 
  • Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and Somerset: c.230 roles across 9 parks, including Burnham on Sea, Devon Cliffs, Perran Sands and Weymouth Bay 
  • North and South Wales, Blackpool and the Lake District: c.300 roles across 9 parks, including Lakeland, Presthaven Sands, Quay West and Lydstep Beach 

Haven is offering a wide variety of exciting seasonal roles to suit a wide range of different skills and interests, including: 

  • Lifeguards 
  • Hospitality – including staff for the on-site Wetherspoons at Kent Coast, Primrose Valley, Devon Cliffs, Haggerston Castle and Cleethorpes Beach 
  • Activities and Leisure – a dynamic team leading and supervising guest experiences, such as: 

Seasonal team members benefit from a range of comprehensive on-demand and self-led digital learning opportunities, including leadership, guest relations and project management. Virtual and in-person training is also available, providing flexible support for professional and personal development.  

Between 2021 and 2024, Haven invested £520 million into upgrading its parks, enhancing both facilities and holiday homes. In 2025, Haven has invested a further £6.7 million into the expansion of new pubs, as part of a broader £8.3 million investment in enhancing food and beverage offerings. In total, Haven parks now have 34 Papa Johns, 32 Burger King restaurants, 5 J D Wetherspoon pubs, 5 Slim Chickens and 6 Chopstix franchises on site.
