  • Haven has invested £9 million into the four new venues
  • Nine J D Wetherspoon pubs are now at Haven sites across England, Scotland and Wales

Haven, the UK’s leading holiday park company, has announced the names of its four new J D Wetherspoon pubs, located at Cala Gran in Blackpool, Hopton in Norfolk, Lakeland in Cumbria and Riviere Sands in Cornwall.

The first pub to open is The Alfred Wainwright at Haven’s Lakeland holiday park in Cumbria. Named after Alfred Wainwright, the British fell walker, his maps have become the standard reference work for the Lake District’s 214 fells.

The Springfield at Haven’s Cala Gran holiday park in Blackpool, is named after Springfield House which stood on what is now the main entrance to the park in the 1960s.

Cornwall-based holiday park, Riviere Sands will see its new J D Wetherspoon pub, The Bluff, retain its original name which refers to the steep bank or cliff edge where the venue is located, offering prominent views over the coastline.

And finally, guests and owners can enjoy Haven’s Hopton new J D Wetherspoon pub, The White Clover named after the flower grown across the county representing good luck.

Nine Haven parks now have on onsite J D Wetherspoon pub, following an exclusive operating agreement signed in 2024 with the first pub launching at Primrose Valley. A full list:
